FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT CASA SANTA FE
Is the house air-conditioned? Yes, with central a/c.
Is Casa Santa Fe on the beach? No, but the house is 4-blocks from a very nice public beach.
Are there restaurants within walking distance? Yes. There are several good restaurants like La Cocay and El Turix less than a block away and others like Chilango’s Cocina Economica are within a short walk.
How about Grocery Shopping? The house is 3-blocks from Chedraui, the largest grocery and general merchandise store on the island. And just 2-blocks away in the other direction there is a terrific fruit and vegetable store where you can pick up a liter of fresh squeezed juice for $15 pesos.
What are the sleeping arrangements? There is a queen-sized bed in one bedroom and two twins, which can be converted to a king, in the other. Plus there is a queen size pullout sofa in the living room.
What is included in the rental fee? The rental includes daily maid service, all linens and towels, plenty of purified drinking water and the services of a local manager.
What do we do if there is some electrical or plumbing problem? Our local management company is on call 24-hours a day and has electricians, plumbers and other repairmen on staff. We wish we had such good service at home.
Is the house convenient to dive shops. It is about 4-blocks to the Plaza Las Glorias hotel pier where virtually any dive shop in Cozumel will stop for a pickup.
Do we need to rent a car? While many find it convenient, with the abundance of relatively inexpensive taxis in Cozumel, you shouldn’t feel like you have to rent a car for your entire stay. You will probably enjoy having a car for at least a day or two to tour the beaches or drive to the other side of the island.
Can you provide a cook? While it is not included in our regular rental fee, our management company can arrange for a cook and can even buy your groceries for you.
